Reflection #1:

Question: What motivated you to take this class? What do you hope to learn from this course? How will taking this course help you in your present day situation?

I was motivated to take this course mainly because it's a requirement for my Associate's in Early Childhood Education.  Also, it seems like a good class to take to learn about how family and community affect a child's development.  I hope to learn how to better understand why kids are certain ways based on their environment.

This class will help me to hopefully understand why my students in my preschool class do or act a certain way.  Sometimes, it can be frustrating when children aren't listening or acting out.  This class will teach me to be a more understanding teacher.
